Ronny L.D. Janis is a professional attorney. For over 30 years of his dedication to banking and legal profession, he has successfully led as a founder and Managing partner of Janis & Associates since 2000 to become a prominent law firm.

Prior to founding Janis & Associates, Ronny L.D. Janis served as the Head of the Legal Division, Credit Administration, and Credit Resolution at PT Bank Dewa Rutji from 1990 to 1998.

From 1999 to 2000, Ronny L.D. Janis joined Antawirya & Associates Advocates & Legal Consultants as a Senior Associate, gaining significant expertise in diverse legal practices.

In 2000, Ronny L.D. Janis established Janis & Associates, where he serves as Managing Partner. Under his leadership, the firm has grown into a highly respected law office, providing legal services in both Litigation and Non-Litigation matters across multiple areas, including Criminal Law, Civil Law, Administrative Law, Arbitration, and Bankruptcy. Janis & Associates has an extensive track record in handling a variety of cases including, land disputes, labour issues, information & communications technology disputes, banking and finance, construction and property law, shipping law, forestry and plantation disputes, family law, and intellectual property rights.

In 2004 as a Professional Lawyer and Managing Partner of Janis & Associates, Ronny L.D. Janis was appointed as a legal consultant to Badan Penyehatan Perbankan Nasional (BPPN). He was part of a team responsible for managing frozen bank assets or non-performing assets under BPPN. This role further enhanced his sharp instincts and ability to resolve complex banking issues, including the restructuring, reconditioning, and rescheduling of problematic loans through both negotiation and litigation.
